Skin Conditions. (2018 - 2019)

For this project, I was inspired by skin conditions like eczema, where the skin gets really irritated and itchy and dermatilomania, where the person picks their skin to release anxiety or other emotions. Inspired by the movement of scratching and pulling the skin, I created thrown pots that weren't perfect, but instead their shape was distorted, with marks in the outside and inside from where they might have been scratched or pulled from.
