Trapped In Your Moulds. (2019)

Inspired by shoulder pads and how they are meant to give you a sense of power, I wanted to look at the idea of being trapped in the moulds you create for yourself. Inspired by armours and the sense of security that they give I have created a piece that can be worn on the body but at the same time secures and traps the person that wears it. Either by limiting their movement and making them aware of their surroundings or by making them uncomfortable on the inside, without realising before they wear the piece.
